Welcome to Snugpods (Pty) Ltd (“Snugpods”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, Delivery Policy, and Returns & Refund Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website.

Snugpods (Pty) Ltd operates in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.


2. Use of the Website

By using this website, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years or older; or

  • You have permission from a legal guardian to use this website.

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful or fraudulent activity.


3. Product Information

We strive to display accurate product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing.
However, colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and lighting.
All products are subject to availability.
Snugpods reserves the right to discontinue, update, or modify products at any time.


4. Pricing & Payment

Snugpods accepts the following payment methods:

  • PayFast (Debit/Credit Cards, Instant EFT)

  • Cash on Delivery (Cape Town deliveries only)

Prices shown on the website include VAT where applicable.
Your order is only confirmed once payment has been received (unless COD applies).


5. Delivery Policy

Snugpods delivers within South Africa only to non-rural and non-high-risk areas.

Delivery Timeframes
  • In-stock colours: Delivered within 7 days

  • Out-of-stock / custom manufacturing: Delivered within 14 days

  • Delivery is always guaranteed within 14 days

Delivery Methods
  • Cape Town: Delivered by the official Snugpods delivery team

  • Other Provinces: Delivered via The Courier Guy

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number.
Tracking can be done on The Courier Guy website or via the tracking link provided.

Snugpods is not responsible for delays caused by the courier service, weather, strikes, or events beyond our control.


6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Snugpods offers a fair and transparent 10-day return period, subject to the conditions below.

6.1 Eligible Returns

Customers may return items within 10 days if:

  • The product was damaged during delivery

  • The product has a factory defect or workmanship issue

  • The product arrives with tears, stitching faults, or incorrect items

  • The product is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging

6.2 Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Damage caused by the customer

  • Stains, spills, odours, or misuse

  • Items exposed to weather (if indoor products)

  • Preference-based returns (size, colour, “too big/too small”, “too soft/too firm”)

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect handling, jumping, dragging, or overloading

6.3 Return Process
  • Customer must notify Snugpods within 10 days

  • Product must be shipped back in original packaging

  • Return courier cost is the customer’s responsibility

  • Snugpods will inspect the returned item within 5 business days

6.4 Repairs, Replacements & Refunds
  • Defective items will be repaired or replaced free of charge

  • If no replacement (same colour/size/fabric) is available, a refund will be issued

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days


7. 5-Year Warranty

Snugpods includes a 5-Year Limited Warranty on all beanbags and foam products.

7.1 Warranty Covers
  • Fabric defects under normal indoor use

  • Stitching and seam integrity

  • Foam degradation under normal use

7.2 Warranty Does NOT Cover
  • Misuse, improper care, or rough handling

  • Exposure to sun, rain, moisture, or outdoor conditions (indoor products)

  • Stains, spills, pets, or odours

  • Damage caused by jumping or dragging

  • Third-party repairs

7.3 Warranty Process
  • Customer must send photos and proof of purchase

  • Customer ships the item back at their own cost

  • Snugpods will repair, replace, or issue store credit depending on assessment


8. Privacy Policy (POPIA Compliance)

Snugpods collects personal information solely for:

  • Processing orders

  • Delivery and courier purposes

  • Customer communication

  • Payment verification

  • Marketing (only with consent)

We do NOT sell, share, or distribute customer information to third parties except for delivery purposes (e.g., Courier Guy).

Customers may request deletion or correction of their information at any time.


9. Intellectual Property

All content, images, branding, products, and designs on this website belong to Snugpods (Pty) Ltd.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.


10. Limitation of Liability

Snugpods is not responsible for:

  • Losses due to courier delays

  • Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer

  • Misuse of products

  • Damages caused by improper handling

  • Events beyond our control (strikes, delays, weather, etc.)

Snugpods liability will never exceed the value of the purchased product.


11. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before shipping.
Once shipped, the normal 10-day return policy applies.


12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by South African law.
Any disputes will be handled under Western Cape jurisdiction.
